The Seaview aluminum closed dome radar mounts, open array radar mounts, satdome mounts, mast mounts & camera mounts are all finished in several steps to achieve a very durable and aesthetically pleasing product. The aluminum mounts are cleaned in a 5 step process followed by Chemfilm, epoxy primer and epoxy powder coat.
Chemfilm is much like anodizing providing great corrosion protection, not to mention this is what Boeing uses in many applications! This makes Seaview products very durable and if handled properly will last a very long time. All products come with nylon washers or nylon shoulder washers to protect the hardware from damaging the surface finish.
